The client design brief for the first-floor addition was to have the internal stairs located to the rear, removing the 2 x internal rooms to allow the kitchen, stairs and dining room to be open plan to the rear. The first floor consists of 3 x bedrooms with built in robes, main bathroom, linen cupboard, and sitting located to the rear where the stairs are located to create an open feeling when entering the first floor addition.

This was a great project to work on, a first-floor addition which has the character a Hampton Classic look, the design was to remove one of the internal bedrooms on ground floor and have the stairs located there with a study to the side. The first floor was to have 2 x bedroom with large walk-in robes and ensuite to both rooms, the main bedroom to have balcony off the room that faces the front of the property. The stairs to have a void area and access to hallway and linen cupboard as well.
